Boy, 6, in intensive care after being hit by motorbike in Stafford
A six-year-old child suffered serious head injuries and is in a critical condition after being hit by a motorbike just after midnight.
The crash happened on Common Road, Stafford, at about 12.05am this morning.
The boy suffered serious head and facial injuries and was taken to Birmingham Children's Hospital by ambulance where he remains in intensive care in a critical condition.
A 42-year-old motorcyclist suffered head, chest and facial injuries and was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital by ambulance.
Officers from the Staffordshire and West Midlands Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the vehicles before the collision or anyone with relevant dashcam footage to contact 101, quoting incident 3 of 10 May.
