Argos recruiting 100 Christmas workers in Stafford
More than 100 temporary jobs are set to be created in Stafford ahead of the Christmas rush.
Argos, which has a warehouse in Acton Gate, is recruiting 104 people to join its customer management team.
The staff members will be contracted full time or part time for up to six months and will help over the Black Friday and Christmas periods.
Chris Stroud, director of customer management centres at Argos, said: “Our new recruits will be pivotal in ensuring that our service in the build up to Black Friday and Christmas is as helpful and efficient as it is throughout the rest of the year.
“Providing great customer service is at the heart of what we do at Argos and that’s why we’re looking for 104 helpful and enthusiastic people to join our Acton Gate team to deliver our fantastic service at the most exciting and busiest time of the year. The work is fast-paced, varied and rewarding with the potential to learn a whole set of new skills.”
An open day will be held at the branch on September 7 for people to gain further insight into the roles.
