Sheltered living apartments approved for Stafford
A development of 26 sheltered living apartments has been approved in Stafford.
Two blocks will be built on the site on 94 Stone Road after the plan was approved this week.
Harixon Ltd applied for the retirement living development along with ancillary accommodation.
The plans say: "The provider aims to deliver and operate a high quality, sheltered residential scheme within two well-designed blocks in a relaxed and secure environment.
"The apartments are arranged in small clusters to create an intimate feel and allow an efficient outlay of support services to suit the diverse needs of different residents.
"The site is currently occupied by a large detached Victorian property and is part of a deceased estate. The property is showing signs of neglect and disrepair."
