Almost 500 people sign petition against development
Almost 500 people have now signed a petition demanding planners reject controversial proposals for 155 homes in Stafford.
The plan for the homes, along with 55 care apartments, have been re-submitted after being previously thrown out, and the news has sparked anger locally.
In less than a week 465 people signed the petition against the plans, which would be built next to the A34 Cannock Road, near Action Hill Road.
Daniel Cadden started the petition and listed a number of problems it would cause, including increased traffic and pressure on local services.
