Man, 20, dies after crash near Stafford
A man has died after a crash in Haughton, near Stafford.
Police were called to reports of a single-vehicle crash yesterday at about 6.25pm, involving a black Vauxhall Corsa on the A518 between Haughton and Stafford close to The Villa Cattery.
Emergency services attended and the driver – a 20-year-old man – was taken to the Royal Stoke University Hospital where he died today from his injuries.
Specialist officers are supporting the man’s family.
Officers are particularly keen to speak to anyone who saw the Corsa before the collision and anyone with relevant dashcam footage.
