Driver cut from car and taken to hospital after crash
A driver was taken to hospital after being cut from a car by firefighters.
Fire crews, police and paramedics were sent to the scene in Wenlock Bank, Lapley, Stafford, at around 5.30pm yesterday after the car left the road and crashed into a tree.
The driver was taken to hospital but their injuries are not thought to be life changing.
Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service tweeted saying: "Crews from Brewood and Penkridge attended a road traffic collision on Wenlock Bank, Lapley with West Midlands Ambulance Service and Staffordshire Police after car left roadway.
"Driver removed by crews and taken to hospital. Thankfully injuries not thought to be serious. Please take care when driving along dark country lanes."
