Stafford couple Luke and Alex Jarrett had a truly first class big day getting photographed in Birmingham’s Grand Central next to New Street Station.

Onlookers joined in the celebrations as the couple came straight from the ceremony to be pictured in their wedding outfits dancing in front of gobsmacked shoppers and passengers.

It was the first time the station has allowed an official wedding shoot to take place.

Bridesmaid Victoria Wilkins said: “The shoot was just amazing, and crowds of people were shouting congratulations and taking photographs.

“With places limited for wedding photography, the wedding photographer managed to get a pass – the first of its kind to be granted to a bride and groom – for the bridal party to be photographed in Grand Central.”

The wedding took place on March 31 at the Burlington Hotel in Burlington Arcade, Birmingham – however Alex wanted to get some photographs around New Street.

The photographer at Incircles Photography said: “The wedding was on a Saturday and I knew that Birmingham would be busy and a bit crazy.

"I approached Grand Central and was told by the station that they have never had a bride and groom shoot. We were creating history!”
