Great British Bake Off judge coming to Staffordshire
Great British Bake Off judge Prue Leith is coming to Staffordshire next month for a literary event.
Prue has been invited to the county by her friend Caroline Sandon, the Countess of Harrowby, for the event at her Staffordshire home Sandon Hall.
The event from 3pm to 6pm will include a book signing session and Q&A.
The Countess said: “Prue has been a great friend for many years, and I thought who better to join me for a literary event than the author of so many fiction and non-fiction works.
"We want the event to be much more than just a book signing, and give literary enthusiasts an insight into the process of bringing a book from a seed in the author’s mind to a published work – through planning and writing to getting published and beyond."
The event will take place at Sandon Hall, just off the A51 – a few miles from Rugeley, Stafford and Stone – on Sunday, November 19.
Afternoon teas will be available to book at 1pm, 2pm and 3pm at £19.95 per person for a traditional serving or £27.95 per person with Champagne.
The event itself is free to attend but booking is essential as numbers are strictly limited.
