Car smashes hole through brick wall in town centre
A man escaped with minor injuries despite ploughing his car through a brick wall this morning.

The driver of the Volkswagen, a man in his 60s, smashed through a wall in Stafford town centre.
The crash happened at around 11.45am and left a gaping hole in the wall in Eastgate Street, which is close to Stafford Police Station and Primark.


The man suffered minor injuries and didn't require any further medical treatment from paramedics.
Police officers, one ambulance and a paramedic officer were sent to the scene.
West Midlands Ambulance Service received a number of calls regarding the crash.
