The egg is one of three prizes up for grabs in the Beacon Centre for the Blind’s Easter raffle.

Entrants are also in with a chance of winning a confectionary hamper – donated by the Black Country sweet shop Teddy Grays – and a £20 fruit and vegetable Easter hamper donated by Taylors Greengrocers and Florist based in Wombourne.

The annual fundraiser for the charity is taking place online due to coronavirus restrictions and entries are £2 each.

The charity is hoping the raffle will raise much-needed funds after losing almost £700,000 in income due to Covid-19 restrictions.

Supporter engagement manager, Sophie Higgins, said: “We have got some fantastic prizes up for grabs in our Easter raffle this year.

"It’s always a popular fundraiser for us and we need people’s support more than ever.

“This is a great way to help us raise funds so we can continue to support people with sight loss when they need us the most.”

Tickets are available by visiting www.justgiving.com/fundraising/beaconeasterraffle.

The raffle will close at midday Tuesday, April 6, and the winning numbers will be drawn at 3pm.
