Pupils paint poppies on school field for Remembrance Day
Pupils at a school near Wolverhampton have been painting giant poppies around the school grounds to remember those who have lost their lives in the line of duty.

Students at St Dominic's Grammar School, based in Brewood, have painted the poppies directly onto the grassed playing fields to create a poignant image of remembrance.

Peter McNabb, headteacher at St Dominic's, said the project formed part of the pupils' learning about Remembrance Day and its importance.
He said: "We always give a lot of focus to Remembrance Day and what it means, with pupils undertaking a range of activities to support their learning.
"The giant poppies are stencilled onto the grass at various places around the school and act as a striking reminder of the sacrifice made for our freedom and liberty."
