Pensioner arrested on suspicion of affray after Featherstone incident
A pensioner has been arrested on suspicion of affray after an incident in Featherstone.
Police officers were called to Dunlin Drive at around 2.30pm after reports of a man in distress.
Officers remained at the scene on Thursday until the situation was brought to a "safe conclusion".
A 71-year-old man was detained by officers and taken to a place of safety, a police spokesman said.
He has since been arrested on suspicion of affray and remains in police custody.
