Wolves All Stars victory in charity match
A charity football game featuring former Wolves stars has helped raise money for a Black Country charity.
The Wolves All Stars took on the Pattingham Old Boys in the South Staffordshire village on Sunday afternoon.
Former Wolves captain Jody Craddock was among the names lining up for the All Stars, who came away with the 2-0 victory.
He was joined by Mel Eves, Seyi Olofinjana and Nigel Quashie, among others.
The match at the playing fields in Pattingham was watched by hundreds of supporters in the sun.
After the game, the players and supporters took a short walk to Pattingham Working Men's Club to celebrate the event.
A BBQ and open bars were on offer for guests, including a bouncy castle for children.
People also had the chance to meet the former professional players.
A raffle was held where a number of prizes were on offer, including a Wolves shirt signed by the current squad.
All money raised went to Wolverhampton charity Compton Care.
Wolves fan Paul Richards has been a mainstay in the All Stars team and regularly helps raise money through a number of events.
The 56-year-old from Stafford said: "We love bringing events forward to support this cause, the more money brought in the better.
"It's great to be able to play alongside these players as well.
"The game was hard fought, it was tough, but the former pros still had it, it took us late into the second half to break the deadlock.
"It's massively important to keep Compton Care at the forefront of people's minds, the money all goes to them and it makes a big difference, the work they do means a lot to people in the area.
"The support families get because of them makes the fundraising so important.
"It's too early to know how much we raised, but we hope it's a few thousand.
"We're all getting old now but as long as we can still walk and talk we will always do something to help."
