Dedicated employee honoured in competition by MNA Recruitment
A dedicated lab technician has been honoured in a competition by a leading recruitment services firm.
Caroline Brown won pizzas for 10 colleagues and a red letter day experience when she was named employee of the week in the draw, organised by MNA Recruitment.
Caroline, who works at the National Milk Laboratories testing centre at Calibre Industrial Park, in Four Ashes, scooped the prize after being picked from a host of entrants in the competition, featured on radio station Signal 107.
She was nominated by colleague Nicola Beards for her hard work and positive attitude.
Nicola said: “Caroline is thoroughly deserving of the award and she is a fantastic person to work with.
“She works so hard in every task that is given to her, especially over the Christmas period when she worked extra days to keep the laboratory afloat. As her team leader I’d be lost without her.”
Caroline was presented with her winnings, along with the food delivery for her colleagues.
She said: “I’m so pleased to have won and I am very shocked. I couldn’t believe when I found out.
“I want to thank Nicola for nominating me. We have worked together for two years.”
The search for the employee of the week was staged as part of a promotional campaign for MNA Recruitment.
The recruitment services firm wanted to honour a popular employee as part of their promotion of their services.

Signal 107 DJ Dicky Dodd surprised Caroline, who lives in Brownhills, by calling her at work to let her know she had won.
She said: “Caroline is a worthy winner. It’s great that I get to come out in the community and meet people who go the extra mile.
“Caroline always has a smile on her face and I would like to wish her a very well done.”
