Man killed and young woman seriously injured after crash near Brewood
A man has died and a young woman left seriously injured after two cars crashed in Staffordshire.
The smash happened in Port Lane between Codsall and Brewood on Sunday afternoon.
A silver Ford Fiesta and silver Vauxhall Corsa crashed on the country lane at around 4.15pm.
Emergency services were called and worked to treat the drivers.
A man, who was treated at the scene, died from his injuries.
Staffordshire Police said a 19-year-old woman was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
A force spokesman said: "We have specially trained officers supporting the family of the deceased man and officers from the Collision Investigation Unit are investigating the collision.
"Various witnesses have initially been traced but we are keen to hear from other potential witnesses."
