The first stage of the demolition of Rugeley Power Station’s landmark towers was carried out in February, with more stages set to come throughout the next two years.

Residents can attend a series of exhibitions to find out more about the plans for the new homes on the land, once the structure is completely demolished.

They will be on Wednesday, March 20 from 1 to 5pm at Rugeley Rose Theatre; Friday, March 22 from 12 to 1.30pm and 4.30 to 6pm at Brereton and Ravenhill Parish Hall; and Saturday, March 23 from 10am to 1pm at Armitage and Handsacre Parish Hall.

This comes after residents were able to attend a demolition update at Rugeley Rose Theatre on February 7.

They were given a timeline of demolition milestones and met members of the project team.
