Boy airlifted to hospital after being knocked from bike in Rugeley crash
A boy was airlifted to hospital after being seriously injured when he was knocked off his bike in a crash with a car.
The smash happened in The Levels, in Brereton, Rugeley, at around midday on Thursday.
A 15-year-old suffered injuries including suspected fractures to his pelvis and leg after the crash.
He was taken by crews from the Midland Air Ambulance to Birmingham Children's Hospital for further treatment.
West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman Claire Brown said: “A 15-year-old boy had come off a pushbike after reportedly colliding with a car."
