Fundraising page set up for Walsall man killed in A5 crash
A fundraising page has been launched to raise money for Callan Neal who was killed in a crash near Lichfield.
Callan, aged 21, from Walsall, was driving his white Renault Clio which collided with a HGV in a layby on the A5 near to Wall Island, near Muckley Corner.
The crash took place at around 2am on Saturday.
A fundraising page has since been launched by his family to help with funeral costs, and has so far raised £900.
The page states: "As a family, we are all so grateful already but we kindly ask for you help to lay our beloved brother, son and grandson to rest."
Staffordshire Police are continuing to investigate the crash – and asking for any witnesses, particularly with dash-cam footage to contact them.
Any witnesses are asked to call Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident reference number 55 of January 4.
