Woman celebrates 100th birthday by dancing the night away
A woman has celebrated her 100th birthday with cake, presents and no end of dancing while surrounded by her family and friends.
Birthday girl Iris Smith, from Hednesford, Cannock, was joined by her daughter and granddaughter as she celebrated turning 100 years old on Monday, June 12.
Staff and family members at Windsor House Care Home, on Littleworth Road, Hednesford, Cannock, filled the halls with balloons, treats and cake to make Iris' big day extra special.
Paula Foster, activities coordinator at Windsor House Care Home, said: "She had a lovely time, we organised some entertainment for the day, Damian who is a singer came and sang some ballads for her.
