Man on roof closes road in Hednesford
A residential street in Staffordshire was cordoned off by police after a man climbed onto the roof of a property today.
Fieldhouse Road, in Hednesford, Cannock Chase, was closed off on Sunday afternoon.
Specially trained officers attended the scene while police deployed a helicopter and a drone as part of a search operation.
Staffordshire Police say the incident was resolved within an hour.
The police force asked members of the public to avoid the area while the incident took place.
Cannock Police tweeted: "Emergency services are currently responding to an on-going incident on Fieldhouse Road in #Hednesford, where a man has climbed onto the roof of a property.
"Specially trained officers are at the scene and hope to bring the incident to a safe conclusion as soon as possible.
"The incident is now resolved. Thank you to local residents for their patience."
