Homes plans submitted as next phase of Hednesford masterplan
The next phase of a masterplan for 700 homes, retail units and a primary school in Hednesford has taken a step forward.
Two outline planning applications for 80 and 78 homes for the major development on land west of Pye Green Road have been submitted.
The mixed-use development plan was approved in 2014 and since Poppyfield Primary Academy has opened on the site and an application for a 66-bed care home creating 58 jobs has been given the go-ahead.
This week the two applications for the homes which would be on arable land were submitted to Cannock Chase Council.
