The houses will be built on Cannock Chase District Council’s Hawks Green Depot site at Old Hednesford Road in Cannock and is the result of a partnership between the council and Cannock-based Jessup Brothers.

The development will transform part of the council’s depot into a mixed tenure housing estate.

It is the first scheme to be built with money from the council’s £12.9m Housing Investment Fund.

The scheme is due for completion by March 2022 and will provide a total of 44 homes, of which 22 will be for open market sale and 22 will be council homes for rent.
