New Cannock swimming pool given green light
A new swimming pool will be built in Cannock, after new plans were given the green light by council bosses.
Proposals to turn a trampoline park at Lakeside Business Park, in Walkmill Way, into a swimming pool were submitted to Cannock Chase District Council by Swim Sports Company Ltd.
The swimming pool will be located on the ground floor of the building, while a viewing gallery will be created on the first floor.
A design and access statement, submitted with the plans, states: "This planning application seeks approval for the proposed change of use for the introduction of a new swimming pool facility within the existing building footprint, and additional internal mezzanine accommodation."
The application has since been given the green light by Cannock Chase District Council, subject to conditions.
