Appeal as woman found seriously injured next to Cannock road
Police don't yet know what happened before the woman was found.
Police are investigating after a woman was found seriously injured next to a residential road in Cannock.
The woman, who is in her 50s and from the local area, was taken to hospital after being found in Belt Road, Hednesford, at around 3.40am on Saturday.
Staffordshire Police said officers don't yet know how the woman became injured and have appealed for anyone who may have seen anything or has dashcam or CCTV footage to come forward.
