Pervert pensioner filmed 130 videos of men using public toilet cubicles
Seventy-one-year-old Robert Moore was caught trying to film over a cubicle wall.
A pervert pensioner secretly filmed at least 130 videos of men using the toilets at two service stations, including one in Staffordshire.
Robert Moore was caught with the footage on his mobile phone after being spotted trying to film over a cubicle wall by a victim.
Officers arrested the 71-year-old who admitted taking the videos over four years at Norton Canes Service Station on the M6 Toll between Junctions 6 and 7 and South Mimms service station on the M25.
Police are now keen to speak to anyone else who thinks they may have been a victim and could bring further charges against the pensioner.
Caught
The appeal comes as Moore, of Talbots Meadow, Diss in Suffolk, received a 14-week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months, after admitting to one charge of recording a person doing a private act for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification.
The charge relates to the period between May 16, 2013 and October 7 last year.
Vinny Bolina, spokesman for the Crown Prosecution Service, said: “The police would need to investigate the incidents first and then a decision would be made on whether to charge him with further offences.”
Moore was eventually caught out at South Mimms Service Station at Junction 23 of the M25 in Hertfordshire.
Last night, a Hertfordshire Police spokesman, said: “The charge covered a four year period and included all of the videos that were found on Moore’s device, including those filmed in men’s toilets at Norton Canes Service Station in Staffordshire and South Mimms Service Station in Herts.”
Moore, who was sentenced at St Albans Magistrates’ Court on November 17, was also given a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for five years and placed on the sex offenders’ register for seven years.
