Man in hospital after Cannock stabbing
A man remains in hospital today after he was stabbed in a serious assault in Cannock.

The attack happened in Danby Drive, Prospect Village, at 5.30pm yesterday.
The man was taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital with a knife wound to his stomach.
He was in a critical condition but police say he is now stable in hospital.
A 39-year-old man from Cannock arrested in connection with the attack remains in police custody.
He was arrested over the offence of actual bodily harm.
A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: "Investigations are now ongoing, but if you know anything about this incident, please call 101 quoting incident number 599 of September 19."
