Puppy in stolen van in Burntwood is found

A puppy which was inside a van when it was stolen in Staffordshire has been reunited with her owners.

Lola, a 15-month-old Jack Russell, was taken when thieves stole a white VW Caddy van with her inside.

Police said the theft took place in Ironstone Road, in Burntwood, just after 1pm on Thursday.

But Cannock Police revealed later that day that the dog had been found.

In a tweet they said: "Thankfully the dog has been found and reunited with her owners. Thank you for your support and shares."

Staffordshire Police have not said if the van has been found.

Any witnesses or anyone with any information is asked to urgently contact 101 quoting incident 255 of 11 June.
