900 homes affected by power cut in Cannock
More than 900 homes were left without electricity after a power cut in Cannock.
A total of 913 properties were affected by the issue, which was caused by a cable fault, in the Cannock and Burntwood area just after 10pm last night.
The power was back on by 10.45pm, according to Western Power Distribution.
A spokesman for the company said: "There was a fault reported last night at 10.06pm affecting 913 properties in Cannock and Burntwood caused by a cable fault.
"Everyone was restored by 10.42pm.
"Engineers will be in the area today to isolate the fault and it will be repaired by the end of the week."
