Parents deny murdering their two-month-old baby
A man and woman have denied murdering their two-month-old son in Staffordshire.
Luke Morgan, 26, and Emma Cole, 22, appeared at Stafford Crown Court today charged with the murder of Tyler Morgan, in Sunnymead Road, Burntwood, on April 29 2014.
The pair pleaded not guilty to manslaughter, causing or allowing an infant death, and child cruelty.
The case was adjourned and Morgan, of Grange Road, Burntwood, and Cole, of Summerbank Road, Stoke-on-Trent, will next appear for an administrative hearing on February 11.
A trial is scheduled to start on April 1 next year at Stafford Crown Court.
