The 39-year-old has operated his jacket potato van from St Editha's Square, serving the locals and creating social media content for years.
He went on to amass four million subscribers on TikTok, serving people from all over the world who visit the town for the sole reason of trying his spuds.
Some customers have even queued up for two hours to buy one of his spuds, proving that it's not just good food he knocks out for punters, but has also created a unique tourist attraction for staycationers and those from overseas.
Last week panic struck his loyal customers after he posted a video informing them that his famous spud van will be replaced for a flowerbed.
Jumping into action, a petition has been launched to save the local business and maintain the much-loved lunchtime hotspot - which has amassed over 60,000 signatures in just three days.
Speaking on Facebook, on February 14, Ben said: "I had a meeting with the council this morning and I have lost my pitch, I have lost my pitch to a flowerbed because it's more important to me."

Ben claimed he bought the pitch in 2003 but over two decades later it is set to be taken away, although he admitted that the council did offer to move him but he wants to stay where he is because that's where customers know to go when they need a bite.
Ben said: "I feel so destroyed by this, the amount we have done and that's what I get, a flowerbed on my pitch and the offer to be moved somewhere.
"I'm at a point, like, who wants me? Because a thousand other towns would love to have the footfall that we bring."
Spudman and a number of other traders have been forced to move from their regular spots while the council completes refurbishment work to St Editha's Square.
Last year, Stephen Gabriel, chief executive of Tamworth Borough Council, said: "Later this year, all market traders currently using St Editha’s Square are being temporarily moved to other parts of the town while we refurbish and improve the square.
"Discussions are happening now so traders can be prepared and communicate with their regular customers. This work is part of our town centre regeneration programme, where St Editha’s Square will be made more accessible for all.
"All moves are temporary, and we are working with our local market provider to find everyone suitable space elsewhere in Tamworth town centre and market."
Councillor Carol Dean, Leader of Tamworth Borough Council, said: “We have seen and read the concerns that have been raised over the weekend around the revised layout to St Editha’s Square as part of our plans to create a more welcoming public space for everyone to enjoy.
“We appreciate the strength of feeling from the community and we are listening. We are seeking a meeting with Spudman as soon as possible so we can consider the issues raised together.
“We are keen to engage with all traders and businesses, including Spudman, as we work together to protect the town for future generations.”
