Wetherspoons to sell discounted food and drinks in January sales – here's where you can get a pint in the West Midlands from 99p
Punters who frequent one the UK's most popular pub chains can now grab a pint for less than £1 as part of the firm's annual January sales event.

The price-slashing plan will commence from Thursday, January 2, and run to January 16, inclusive, providing sales not just on drinks, but food and hotel stays across the UK.
There are a selection of popular beers on offer including a pint of Worthington's for 99p and Ruddles Best for £1.29, while Belhaven and Doom Bar will set you back £1.49.
And it's not just beer prices being knocked down, as a glass of Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Rose and Merlot will cost £2.49 (250ml).
Teetotal tourers of the vast amount of branches across the Black Country are also being treated to sales on non-alcoholic spirits, beers and soft drinks.
Another reason to drop in for most is the cheap food the firm sells, and they'll be offers on burger meals from £4.99, and breakfast deals for £2.99 which include free hot drink refills.
Wetherspoons customers can also enjoy a hotel January sale, with lower room rates for stays in all UK hotels in January 2025.
The sale is running now for stays between January 1–31, inclusive, with the sale room rates valid on all days during January (except Saturdays).
Rooms are available at £49, £59 and £69 (per room, per night), depending on location (for further information, click here).

One of the branches taking part in the sales is The Acorn Inn, Lichfield, and the pub's manager Glenn Mannion said the event will prove 'popular' with customers.
Glenn, said: “Department stores and shops hold their sales in January, so it is the perfect time to have a sale in the pub too.
“The range of drinks and food on sale in the pub is aimed at suiting a wide variety of tastes.
“This year we have included our biggest selection of low and non-alcoholic drinks.
“I believe that the January Sale will prove popular with our customers.
“As always, staff at the pub will serve customers responsibly.”
