Police review previous dealings by force with XL Bully dogs involved in fatal attack on father Ian Price
Staffordshire Police has confirmed an internal review is under way into the force's previous interactions with the XL Bully dogs that killed father Ian Price.
The force's professional standards departments will look into four previous incidents concerning the dogs, which have now been put down.
In a letter, the force moved to reassure Stonnall residents after the attack saying officers "were doing all they can".
A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of having dogs dangerously out-of-control and was later arrested on suspicion of manslaughter, but has since been bailed.
