Appeal to find missing 12-year-old last seen in Cannock

Police are appealing for help in tracing a missing 12-year-old boy from Staffordshire.

Alfie Arnold was last seen near Cannock train station at around 10.05am on Thursday morning.

It is believed he may be travelling to Hertfordshire.

Staffordshire Police are becoming increasingly concerned for his safety and are appealing to the public for help in finding him.

A spokesman for the force said: "Officers are concerned for missing 12-year-old boy, Alfie Arnold, and are appealing to the public for help in finding him.

"Alfie was last seen near to Cannock train station at 10.05am this morning [Thursday] and may be travelling to Hertfordshire.

"He is described as white, 4ft 1ins tall, with blue eyes and blonde hair. He was wearing a red t-shirt, red shorts, black socks and white sliders.

"If you have seen Alfie or know of his whereabouts, please call us."

Anyone who has seen Alfie Arnold, or has information about his whereabouts, is asked to call Staffordshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 278 of June 25.
