Man dies after being pulled out of canal in Kingswinford
A man has died after being pulled from a canal near Kingswinford.
Emergency services were sent to the scene at Herons Reach, near Ashwood Lower Lane in Ashwood, on Sunday.
The man, in his 60s, was pulled from the water at around 11am and was taken to hospital but died a short time later.
A spokesman for Staffordshire Police said: "Colleagues from West Midlands Ambulance Service and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service also attended.
"A man in his 60s was pulled from the water and taken to hospital but sadly died a short time later."
The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report is being prepared for the coroner, police said.
