Police officer given final warning over 'insensitive' language

A police officer found guilty of misconduct for using racially offensive language has been given a final written warning by Staffordshire Police.

The force's independent panel had been hearing evidence around the claims made regarding PC Andrew Goodwin throughout this week and came to a conclusion yesterday that he was guilty of misconduct.

He faced the hearing alongside two other officers who were found to have no case to answer.
