Elizabeth Bishop, who studies BA (Hons) Fashion Promotion at Ravensbourne, a London based higher education sector college specialising in digital media and design, won the award for the development of her brand “Eternal”, designed to help women over the age of forty choose the best clothes for them.

“Eternal” offers a customer-focused service comprising of: an e-commerce website, a bi- annual magazine, and a digital content subscription platform.

Elizabeth said: “I wanted to create something sophisticated, timeless and contemporary as I saw there was a distinct lack of representation of women of a certain age.

“The course at Ravensbourne has enabled me to develop my skills in a range of software and without these skills I’d have been unable to create my work.”

Course Leader for BA (Hons) fashion promotion, Jemma Sawyer said: “We’re delighted with Elizabeth’s win.

"She’s worked extremely hard, it’s very well deserved.”

Elizabeth would like to go on to work as a freelance art director in the future and continue to work as an influencer with Elite London.

Elizabeth’s win follows seven students from the course being shortlisted for the reputable All Walks Beyond the Catwalk competition which asks fashion students to present their vision of a future where diverse representation is the norm.

Out of these seven, four students have been named as finalists which means Ravensbourne holds the most finalists and shortlisted students of any institution this year!

Additionally, students studying in the Department of Fashion have also been nominated for six Graduate Fashion Week Awards in categories such as styling and fashion marketing.
