Wedding seamstress 'thrill' at scooping industry award
A wedding seamstress says she is thrilled to have scooped a regional prize in a leading national award scheme.

My Little Wedding Shop in Castle Terrace, Bridgnorth made it as a finalist in the The Wedding Industry Awards 2025 (TWIA).
The shop specialises in sustainable designed bridal wear.
The TWIA is a nationwide awards program that recognises and rewards excellence in the wedding industry and is based on votes from brides and grooms as well as expert judges.

Last week, owner Jen Bone scooped the regional finals for the West Midlands in the Seamstress and Tailor category at The Mount Hotel in Wolverhampton.
She said: “It is such a thrill to have won this award, I was generally surprised and the support has been wonderful.
“I was nominated and voted for by my brides which makes the whole experience so much more special.
“As a bridal designer I get to work very closely with my brides to create their perfect wedding outfit and it is so important to me that my brides find this experience such a big part of their wedding preparations.”
Jen now goes onto take part in the national finals, set to be held on Wednesday, January 22 at The Underglobe in London.
