Ambulance called to rush hour crash near Bridgnorth

A collision near Bridgnorth saw the ambulance service called during rush hour on Tuesday.

The incident on the A454 Rudge Heath to Hilton occurred at around 8.30am, the Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said.

A spokesperson for the fire service said the incident involved two saloon cars and while no occupants were trapped in the vehicles, ambulance crews attended.

Thankfully, neither drivers required hospital treatment.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 8.23am to reports of a two vehicle RTC on the A454 in Worfield.

"One ambulance attended the scene. The drivers of both vehicles were assessed by the ambulance crew but neither required hospital treatment and were discharged on scene."
