On Sunday, October 6, 2019 as Lisa Delmar was getting ready to finish her shift at the Co-op in Highley, a masked raider brandishing a knife entered the store.

The knifeman thrust the kitchen blade under Lisa's throat and demanded cash from the tills, in an incident that left the mother of two shaken for months.

"I just shut myself away," said Lisa, who is now 53. "He came from Highley and I knew his family so I was scared to go out, so I spent three months just shut away and didn't go out."

By the time the knife-wielding thief was jailed for five years, Lisa found herself on hard times. Not being able to work, she ended up relying on Bridgnorth Foodbank to support herself and two daughters.
