Around 4,000 homes hit by power cut in Bridgnorth
Around 4,000 homes in Shropshire were hit with a power cut on Wednesday evening.
Western Power say a fault caused around 4,000 customers in the WV16 postcode area to lose power at around 8.26pm.
A spokesperson for the energy provider said most homes were reconnected in three minutes, but around 154 properties in Bridgnorth were still without electricity.
Engineers were investigating the cause of the blackouts and hoped to have power restored later on Wednesday evening.
