Emergency road closure in Bridgnorth after gas leak
An emergency road closure has been put in place in Bridgnorth because of a gas leak.
St John's Street in the town is likely to remain closed until April 11 while repairs are carried out.
A spokesman for Shropshire Council said: "St John's Street in Bridgnorth has been closed due to a gas leak.
"Our partners Cadent say the road is likely to remain closed until April 11 while they carry out repairs."
The council says signs have been put out to help people avoid the area and plan alternative routes.
It comes after the same road was closed in January when a four-car collision damaged a house.
