10 celebrities who support the Baggies, including a boxer, tennis champion and four-time BAFTA winner
Football clubs up and down the country have long lists of celebrity fans who still follow their team through thick and thin - and The Black Country is no different.
West Bromwich Albion is one of those teams, and the storied club has achieved some pretty amazing feats since it's birth way back in 1878.
The club has a strong list of honours, from winning the league in the early days to boasting five FA cup wins across the decades, the club has afforded many happy memories to its army of blue and white jersey-donning fans over the years.
Amongst those fans are some pretty well-known celebrities too, who you'll usually find on your Spotify playlists, the TV and the Silver Screen.
So, from Joe Lycett to Eric Clapton, here are the 10 famous faces that you definitely know, but may not have known the Black Country badge they toot.
1. Joe Lycett - comedian
In a story he told at one of his shows, the comedy star said he started supporting The Albion because his friend Karen said they are the 'best team'.
In the clip, which can be found on his YouTube account, he said: "Statistically inaccurate, that."
2. Eric Clapton - singer
Eric Clapton adds to the list of famous Baggies fans and even featured a club scarf on the back of Backless, one of his albums.
The music star sponsored a match between the club and Galatasaray on September 27, 1978.
3. Cat Deeley - presenter
The veteran TV presenter was born in West Bromwich and rumour has it follows the Baggies, she has been seen wearing the club's jersey in the past.
4. Matthew Marsden - actor
Starring in countless flicks like Rambo, Transformers and Black Hawk Down, Matthew Marsden makes no secret of his love for West Bromwich Albion.
5. Sir Lenny Henry - actor and comedian
Sir Lenny Henry, who hails from Dudley, is a lifelong Albion supporter, and was friends with players at the club back in the late 1970s and early 1980s. He has also worked the club into his stand-up and acting gigs.
6. Frank Skinner- comedian
Frank Skinner has been pictured many times at the ground watching games, he also hosted an event to help raise money towards a lasting tribute to the club's pioneering black players.
Cyrille Regis, Laurie Cunningham and Brendon Batson became famous in the late 1970s at The Hawthorns, becoming known as The Three Degrees.
7. Goran Ivanisevic - Tennis coach and former Wimbledon winner
The Tennis champion has been a fan of the club for well over a decade, watching his first game against Manchester City and were beaten 3-2 and was 'thrilled' to finally get a chance to see the team play live.
8. Josie Lawrence - actress
The comedian and actress - best known for her time on Whose Line Is It Anyway? - is mentioned on the club's official as a supporter of the football club.
9. Dame Julie Walters - actress
Multi award-winning actress Dame Julie Walters is said to be a life long fan of the club, brought up in Smethwick. The much-loved actress has starred in some of world's biggest films, including the Harry Potter Series.
10. Richie Woodall - former boxer
The Telford born former WBC super-middleweight title holder also snatched the Commonwealth middleweight title and the European middleweight title. He is known for being a huge supporter of the Baggies.
