Man arrested after police stand off in West Bromwich
A man has been arrested after being talked down from the roof of a home in West Bromwich.
Police blocked off Skidmore Drive and Hilton Street, in Guns Village, near Greets Green, this morning.
Police attended the house to make a 'pre-planned arrest' at 10am.
A man was later seen on the flat roof of a property in Skidmore Drive.
Armed police were also called to the scene.
Police confirmed a man was taken into custody shortly before 4pm.
