Garage destroyed after West Bromwich fire
A garage was destroyed by an early morning blaze.
Firefighters from West Bromwich and Wednesbury were called to the scene in Brook Street, West Bromwich at 5.39am on Saturday.
Two men and five animals were rescued from a house linked to the garage.
A fire service spokesman said: "The incident involved a severe fire in the garage of a semi-detached property.
"The garage was 100 per cent destroyed by the fire and it spread to 10 per cent of the main building.
"Two adult males were led to safety from the address as well as three dogs and two cats."
Smoke alarms were fitted at neighbouring homes. The incident was resolved by 7.49am.
