Carl Campbell murder: Two men deny West Bromwich street killing
Two men have denied murdering a father-of-one in broad daylight in a Black Country town centre.
Carl Campbell was shot dead in West Bromwich in December while sitting in a stationary Ford Fiesta on Dartmouth Street, close to the junction with High Street.
Mr Campbell, 33, from Low Hill, Wolverhampton, died of a gunshot wound to the face as he sat in his car.
Today, 25-year-old Jaspal Rai and 20-year-old Mohammed Humza, both of no fixed abode, pleaded not guilty to murder at Birmingham Crown Court.
They also both denied possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life.
Vikesh Chauhan, 24, also of no fixed abode, has previously pleaded not guilty to murder and not guilty to possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life.
Rai, Humza and Chauhan will appear at Birmingham Crown Court on June 28 for trial.
