Alert after man follows boy home from Wednesbury school
Parents in Wednesbury have been warned after a boy was allegedly followed home from school by an unknown man.
The warning was issued after the Stuart Bathurst Catholic High School pupil was followed home on Monday.
The alert said that the the man, described as in his early 30s, started to walk behind the year eight pupil along Wood Green Road at around 3.20pm and continued to follow him for the entire walk home.
The alert said: "A year eight student has reported that on Monday, March 4, at approximately 3.20pm, a man started to walk behind him along the Wood Green Road, in Wednesbury, and continued to follow him for the entire walk home.
"He is described as white, in his early 30s, wearing baggy clothes and a dark blue/black hoodie with the hood up.
"Police have been informed."
