Sewer repairs underway as West Midlands road is closed and buses are diverted - here's where

An alert has been raised for traffic disruption due to sewer repairs throughout today (Friday, February 7)

Repairs to a defect in a sewer line in the West Midlands are underway throughout today by Severn Trent Water engineers.

As a result Upper Church Lane in Tipton will be closed with buses being diverted from the road from 8am to 5pm..

National Express West Midlands issued an alert this morning at around 6am today that the number 43 is being diverted.

The service to Bilston will travel from Watt Road, St Mark’s Road, Ocker Hill Road/ Spring Street, Toll End Road, Gospel Oak, Wednesbury Oak Road Richard Road to normal line of route.

The number 43 to West Bromwich will travel the reverse of the above to Ocker Hill Road from the island.
