Witness appeal as cyclist seriously injured in Tipton crash
A cyclist is critically injured after being hit by a car in Tipton.
The 39-year-old was hit by the car on Park Lane East on Wednesday at about 4.50pm.
He was taken to hospital where he remained in a critical condition on Saturday.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is said to be helping police with their inquiries.
West Midlands Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
Sergeant Dean Caswell, from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: “We are currently in the process of piecing together exactly what happened on Wednesday but we need anyone who may have witnessed the collision to get in touch.
“In particular, I am keen to hear from anyone with dash cam footage who was in the area around the time of the collision."
