CCTV appeal to trace man after car stolen in Smethwick
Police have launched an appeal to trace a man after a Vauxhall Astra was stolen in the Black Country.
The car was parked outside Pepe's Chicken, in Bearwood Road, Smethwick, when it was stolen at 8.30pm on Wednesday, August 12.
The suspect drove off in the direction of Birmingham.
The owner, who was inside collecting his food order at the time, reported what happened to West Midlands Police straight away.
A spokesman for the force said: "Today we have released photos of a man we want to speak to.
"The photos are really clear so please get in touch if you recognise him."
Anyone who recognises the man, or has any information, is asked to call West Midlands Police on 101, quoting crime number 20SW/191549M/20.
