New dawn for Midlands Rugby League club after securing long-term future at Sandwell Rugby ground
The region's only professional Rugby League club has made a move to secure its future after relocating to a brand new home within Sandwell.

Smethwick bridges the Black Country with Birmingham but retains its own unique place in history as the original home of the world’s oldest engine made by engineers Matthew Boulton and James Watt. Its heritage was cemented with firms such as GKN and Chance Brothers glassworks employing many people. As of 2017, the Midland Metropolitan Hospital is being built here.
